Function

Have you got an innate talent for sales ? Are you an expert in the automotive sector and an ace negotiator? Then, this job is for you!

Your mission

The Sales department, composed of about 50 employees, is currently looking for a Product Sales Manager to strengthen the Product Sales team located in Braine-l'Alleud. You’ll be directly reporting to the Product Sales General Manager and will be responsible for new business development for all European based OEM’s within the Powertrain business line in order to meet corporate sales objectives.

What will you work on?

  • Participate to the OEM Vision (2025 & 2030), long term sales plan by building and executing Product Strategies in line with Product Companies, Specific Business Cases within your Product area, Annual promotion action plan by Product and Customer.
  • Develop your knowledge within your Product area to become the EU reference within your Product Area (Product functionality/roadmap; Manufacturing process; EU market needs; Competitors). Utilize it internally and externally with the view of developing the business and maximize the chances to secure contract.
  • Foster and develop strong customer relationships at various departments with focus on Purchasing and Engineering at innovation, RFI and RFQ sourcing stage.
  • Develop stong business relationships internally with Aisin Japan HQ Sales team, Aisin Europe’s Technical Center, Purchasing, Plants and Costing team.
  • Ensure that internal processes related to Business Acquisition are followed in order to develop promptly and efficiently new sales opportunities.

Profile

MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering
  • 5 year-experience min. in a technical environment with customers interface
  • Strong negotiator & persuasive
  • Customer oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • Ready to travel (up to 20%)

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in direct sales or account management with European OEM customers.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Products in Heat Management (Cooling and Lubrication systems which include Electric Water Pump, Electric Oil Pump and Flow Control Valves) and in Electrified driving modules & components (eAxle and its sub-comonents including E-Machine, Inverter and Reducer).
  • Additional language skill is an asset (especially French, German, Japanese).
