At AISIN Europe, we aim to set the benchmark in Quality and Customer Satisfaction for Automatic Transmissions and other advanced automotive technologies. Based in our Quality Assurance team in Braine-l’Alleud, you’ll be part of a passionate, cross-functional group dedicated to driving excellence with leading European car manufacturers. We’re on a mission to continuously improve the quality of our current and future products and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and analytical mind to help us get there.
What You'll Do
As a Product Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in investigating, analyzing, and enhancing the quality of AISIN products throughout their lifecycle. Your scope will include both hands-on evaluation and collaboration across departments and countries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- supporting/advising QA department engineers when conducting vehicle evaluation and trouble-shooting on end-user vehicles and analysing test results
- leading and conducting detailed technical investigations/rootcause analysis (with the assistance of other departments: quality investigation, engineering…) and supporting reporting to customer
- promoting/monitoring internally technical improvements (manufacturing process, hardware design, software change…) based on your findings in close inter-action with design teams in Japan and manufacturing Quality Teams in our European factories (EPC)
- organizing training sessions internally and externally about new technologies/products as well as new equipment
- performing data analysis and creating/managing quality indicators to monitor Aisin AW parts quality and to guide investigation focus
- defining/testing new tools to be used in vehicle evaluations or investigations of new AISIN products
Profile
What You Bring to the Table
Must-Haves:
- Master’s degree in (Electro)Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in:
- Testing and data acquisition (ideally in automotive)
- Handling and analyzing large data sets
- Solid command of English (written & spoken)
- Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel across Europe (up to 15%)
Nice-to-Haves:
- First experience in technical/root-cause investigations
- Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, FTA, Ishikawa
